Communications

The communications team works to increase awareness of, and excitement around the programs and offerings of Ahavath Torah Congregation (ATC). This is accomplished through effective social media, including a Facebook page. 

The team collects pertinent information on events, and sends out weekly emails with up-to-date information about events for that week and upcoming events. The emails also include any important notices for members to be aware of, as well as article by the rabbi, known as Torah Thought.

The Communications team keeps the Facebook page lively with posts generally every day. Facebook topics run the gamut from history to music, from popular culture to holidays, and humor, too. Some posts are shared, others are created by team members, as images with text, videos, and events.

The team works closely with president of the synagogue, the rabbi, and the editor of the ATC Bulletin. Other duties of team members include taking photos and video clips at synagogue events.
